Old Spike Coffee Roastery

Old Spike Roastery

Collaborating with ANDTHENSTUDIO, we transformed a Peckham warehouse into an empowering community space. Housing Old Spike Roastery and their training academy in partnership with Change Please, the site is used to support homeless individuals, providing them with employment and new skills to develop careers in the coffee industry.

The moment you step through the industrial entrance, you're immersed in our design narrative. Exposed brick walls and contemporary lighting create a richly textured interior, effortlessly marrying rustic charm with modern allure.

We understood the importance of maintaining a low-cost fit out that did not compromise on the quality and impact of the space. Thus, we carefully curated our design choices to ensure that the transformation was both affordable and aesthetically pleasing.

‘We wanted to create a space that not only delivered on functionality but also created an in-your-face visual representation of the Old Spike Roastery and Change Please brands. Somewhere dynamic and exciting, where people felt immersed and connected to those brands as well as welcomed.”
